The Rights of Muslim prisoners at the Ottawa-Carlton Detention Centre (OCDC)

The Canadian Association of Muslim Women in Law wrote a letter to the Acting Superintendent Wood, at the Ottawa-Carlton Detention Centre (OCDC), on behalf of Muslim individuals who are incarcerated. This letter right along with 60 other organization and  human rights advocate is calling on the Acting Superintendent to immediately allow Muslim prisoners have access to medications at times outside the fasting hours for the holy month of Ramadan.
