This year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Canadian Association of Muslim Women in Law (CAMWL) will be on Monday, November 21 at 6:30PM at the University of Toronto. Please RSVP by Friday, November 18.
The evening will feature a keynote address by Ontario Human Rights Chief Commissioner Renu Mandhane. This program has been accredited by the Law Society of Upper Canada for 1.5 Professionalism CPD hours.
There will also be elections for the new steering committee. Ballots will be open from 6:30PM to 7:00PM at the AGM.
To run in the election, you must pay your 2016 membership fees and complete the nomination form here by Monday, November 7. Biographies and statements of interest will be emailed to CAMWL members prior to the election. There are four positions available on the steering committee for the upcoming term.
To vote in the election, you must pay your 2016 membership fees by Friday, November 18.
